Tale from Manta Bay, Bali
Hidden beneath the limestone cliffs of Bali’s southern coast, Manta Bay is known for its remarkably clear waters and the graceful reef manta rays that occasionally glide through its currents. Although the bay is often associated with marine adventures, its quiet beauty begins long before anyone enters the water—the shifting turquoise sea, weathered cliffs, and changing light create a landscape that feels both powerful and peaceful.
This watercolor painting captures that fleeting atmosphere rather than a single moment. Soft washes of color and layered textures reflect the movement of water, while preserving the calmness that makes Manta Bay unforgettable.
The original watercolor artwork is currently exhibited at Kencana Gallery at GWK, Bali and is available for purchase through both Kencana Gallery and the Lunari website.
